We absolutely LOVE lasagna!! The best part is it’s so easy to make and delicious. It takes only a few ingredients that are usually on hand anyway. Make a double batch, and you can freeze one for later in the week. After work, just take it out of the freezer and heat it up.
1 lb. hamburger
a package of lasagna noodles
1 green pepper
We used two different kinds of cheese, but you can use any kind of cheese.
- Bring a pan of water to a boil for the noodles. When the water is boiling, add them and cook till done.
- Brown your hamburger in a skillet, and make sure it’s thoroughly cooked. Add your sauce, onion, and spices and simmer for about 5 minutes. Then turn off the heat.
- Now you can put the other ingredients into a bowl and mix them. Add your hamburger and mix it all together.Strain the noodles but add cold water and let them sit till you’re ready for them. This keeps them from sticking together, in our experience.
- In your 13″ x 9″ baking dish, alternate layers of meat and sauce, noodles, and cheese, starting with the meat.
Bake at 350 for about 30 to 40 min.
