This is a great treat for breakfast! It can be made the night before and stored in an air tight container till the next day. That’s the way we do it to save time. Almost like having instant cereal. We don’t always add milk in the bowl, although you can, but we’ve added different things depending on what was on hand.

To give you an idea, we’ve topped it with tahini, yogurt, cream cheese, and you could add peanut butter. Granola is one of the easiest things to make and you can add what you want to it. There’s really no right or wrong way, I don’t think.

In large mixing bowl:

  • 10 C. Oats
  • 2 C. Flour
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves

In another bowl:

  • 1 1/3 C. coconut oil
  • 1 C. water
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 C. Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/4 C. Raisins
  • Tahini (optional, to taste)
  • Peanuts (optional)
  • Chocolate Chips (optional)

Mix the contents of each bowl well. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well. Spread on two pans, one larger than the other, greased with butter. Bake for 15 min. at 350 degrees.

Stir, and then turn sheet/pan around in oven and bake for 15 min. more. Repeat process until done to your liking. Let cool and chow down!
