Growing up, we would make hamburger patties with french fries instead of eating out at a restaurant. The best ones were when we had family cookouts at the park. Grandpa would charcoal grill them with BBQ sauce. Mmmmm!!! They aren’t hard to make and you can season them to your liking.
1 lb. ground hamburger
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic
Mix all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Then form into 4-5 patties, depending on how big you make them. Have your grill ready before hand. Place on your grill and cook until done.
Food seems to taste and smell so much better when it’s grilled. It’s too hot to cook indoors and it’s cooler outside. Any spills are easily cleaned up so everyone can relax. The Weber Original Kettle has a heavy duty bowl and lid coated with porcelain-enamel. To make cleaning the grill easy it has a One Touch cleaning system. It has a large, removable ash catching container under the hinged grate. The grate is hinged on both sides so that you can more coals if needed while smoking meat.
No need to buy an external thermometer with this model. It has one built into the lid. The handle on the lid has a heat-resistant shield to protect your hands. The 22.5″ grilling surface will still fit the previous version of this grill.
The grill is easy to setup and can be transported easily in the back of a pickup truck. No need to take it apart. The legs have a spring clip/push pin system that makes it easy to attach them.
